As an Immigration Consultant, Bethia provides Canadian immigration services to ensure the seamless temporary entry of employees and vendors into Canada and assist with the transition from temporary foreign worker status to permanent resident status then to citizenship. She assists clients in obtaining work permits, study permits, temporary resident visas and Labour Market Impact Assessments (LMIAs). She also assists with Express Entry applications for permanent residence, Provincial Nominee Programs applications, and family sponsorships.
Since joining EY Law LLP in October 2012, Bethia worked as a Senior Law Clerk and Supervising Senior prior to assuming the role of Immigration Consultant, Manager in October 2019. In this role, she works with clients to provide strategic Canadian immigration advice based on the unique needs of the business and ensure compliance with Canadian immigration rules and regulations.
Prior to joining EY Law LLP, Bethia worked as an Immigration Paralegal at various large and mid-size law firms in Calgary, Alberta.
