David has extensive experience providing US business immigration services to clients on a wide range of matters, including H-1Bs, L-1As, L-1Bs, I-140 petitions, immigrant visas and adjustment of status applications. David has provided immigration counsel to clients across industries and sectors, including arts and entertainment, sports, higher education, health care, information technology and professional services.
Experience
David joined EY Law LLP after practicing for several years as a US immigration attorney in Toronto, where he represented clients from diverse backgrounds in all aspects of immigration law, including family and employment-based immigrant and non-immigrant visa petitions, naturalization, criminal issues and waivers before such entities as USCIS, US Department of State and Customs & Border Protection.
Credentials
David received his Juris Doctorate from Oak Brook College of Law (2007). He is licensed to practice law in the United States and is a registered foreign legal consultant with the Law Society of Upper Canada. He is admitted to the California State Bar (2010). He is also a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (Canada chapter).
