Felix Hau

Felix is a Senior Manager in EY Law LLP’s Canada and cross-border North American Free Trade Agreement (CaNAFTA) practice. He practices in all aspects of Canadian citizenship and immigration law, with an emphasis in corporate immigration. Felix assists with the temporary and permanent entries of business personnel into Canada. He also advises clients in regulatory matters under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act.

Experience

Before joining EY Law LLP, Felix worked at one of Canada’s largest immigration law firms in Toronto, where he assisted clients in various immigration matters, including family class and economic class permanent residence applications, humanitarian and compassionate applications, admissibility issues and Canadian citizenship. He has also represented clients before various immigration tribunals and the Federal Court of Canada. Felix also volunteered at a Toronto legal clinic, assisting low-income clients with refugee applications and providing legal seminars for vulnerable groups.

Credentials

Felix is a member of the Ontario Bar Association, the Canadian Bar Association, the Law Society of Upper Canada and the Federation of Asian Canadian Lawyers. He obtained his Juris Doctor from the University of Toronto Faculty of Law and holds his Honours Bachelor of Science from Queen’s University. Felix is fluent in Cantonese and conversant in Mandarin.
