Geeta manages the Cross Border Travel Service (CBTS) team for both US and Canadian Immigration at our Toronto, Canada office. She provides a wide range of US and Canadian employment-based non-immigrant visa legal services for international professionals.
Prior to joining EY Law LLP, Geeta worked for other firms as a US immigration lawyer. She provided immigration services on US corporate immigration and cross-border issues. She advised corporate clients on various non-immigrant visas, including H-1B, L-1, TN, B1/B2 and through employment- and family-based immigrant visas, including I-140, I-130 and I-485 green card applications.
Geeta is licensed to practice law in the United States and Canada and is a registered Foreign Legal Consultant with the Law Society of Upper Canada. She is also a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), American Bar Association and the Ohio Bar Association. Geeta is fluent in English, Hindi and Punjabi.
