Neil is a Partner with EY Law LLP and is a member of the practice’s Tax Law Services group. He focuses exclusively on tax dispute resolution and tax litigation.

A litigator with nearly 20 years of experience, Neil joined EY Law after over a decade running his boutique tax litigation firm in Alberta. Over the course of his career, Neil has advised on a diverse range of income tax, GST/HST matters, voluntary disclosures, interest and penalty relief, third-party liability assessments, tax collection, government relations and public policy advocacy, and the GAAR.

Prior to becoming a lawyer, Neil worked for an investment bank in New York City and as an advisor to the Minister of National Revenue in Ottawa.

Neil is a graduate of the University of Alberta and the London School of Economics.
