As a Senior Associate Attorney with EY Law LLP’s US Immigration team, Neil is responsible for providing strategic advice and recommendations to corporate clients related to all aspects of US immigration law. He works with clients to develop and help implement strategies to bring international talent to the United States in a timely and compliant manner.
Neil brings a wealth of experience in the areas of US labor and employment law, specifically the Federal Labor Standards Act, in addition to his knowledge of US business immigration law and practice.
Throughout his previous work in litigation, Neil represented clients before The United States District Court for the Southern District Court of Florida on a variety of complex employment matters, including contractual issues and employment related disputes. Having gone through the immigration process himself upon his move to Canada, Neil is looking forward to expanding his legal practice to immigration-related matters, specifically with respect to helping bring international talent to the United States in a timely and efficient manner.
A true golf enthusiast, Neil has been active in the sport since he was in grade school. Combining his passion for golf and giving back to the community, he helped organize a golf tournament fundraiser as part of the young professionals committee with JNF in Toronto.
Neil is admitted to practice law in the State of Florida at both the State and Federal levels. He is also a member with the Law Society of Ontario in Toronto. Neil holds his JD from California Western School of Law in San Diego, CA, and BA degree in Business Administration from the California State University Northridge in Los Angeles, CA.
