Peter is a Trade Law Counsel with more than 25 years of experience and in-depth knowledge of international trade, customs and procurement law.

His extensive career includes six years as counsel to the Canadian International Trade Tribunal (CITT), where he honed his knowledge in navigating complex trade issues. Peter has served as counsel in more than 100 CITT proceedings, addressing critical matters related to customs, trade remedies and procurement.

His experience, insights and strategic guidance have established him as a trusted advisor in trade remedies, export/import controls, sanctions and customs compliance. 

Peter’s diverse clientele includes prominent aluminum and steel manufacturers, as well as leading technology and IT firms. He provides valuable support in M&A transactions, compliance training, reporting and voluntary disclosure, empowering organizations to confidently navigate the complexities of Canadian and international trade law.
