Sabita is an experienced immigration attorney with EY Law LLP based in Toronto. She has extensive experience providing U.S. Business Immigration services, including H-1B, L-1, TN, E-3, E-2, J-1, O, PERM Labor Certification, immigrant petitions, adjustment of status, consular and port-of entry processing to clients across industries and sectors.
Sabita has practiced exclusively in the field of US immigration and nationality law and has provided U.S. immigration counsel to corporate clients in a variety of industries including professional services, information technology, mining, entertainment, pharmaceutical and health care. Her experience includes advising on a variety of business immigration nonimmigrant and immigrant classifications, such as employment based petitions, NAFTA-based applications, investor visas, business visitors, as well as immigrant petitions.
Sabita has provided advice to a variety of Fortune 500 companies, small to medium-sized companies and startups. She has advised corporate clients on complex immigration strategies as well as on US immigration compliance.
Sabita received her Juris Doctorate from Western Michigan University Thomas M. Cooley Law School (2004). She is licensed to practice law in the United States and is a registered Foreign Legal Consultant with the Law Society of Upper Canada. She is admitted to the New Jersey State Bar. Sabita is also a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (Canada chapter).
