Business Immigration Services
Shali is an experienced immigration attorney with EY Law LLP based in Toronto. She is experienced in a wide array of immigrant and nonimmigrant visas, including B-1, H-1B, L-1, E, J-1, TN, O, immigrant petitions, adjustment of status, consular and port-of-entry processing. Her experience also extends to high-volume clients requiring nonimmigrant visas and PERM labor certification.
Shali has obtained substantial experience on large client engagements for which EY Law LLP handles global immigration services. She began her immigration career as a paralegal following graduation from law school, during which time she obtained her license to practice as an attorney. During law school she interned at the United Nations Office of Partnerships at UN Headquarters in New York City, completed the Duke-Hong Kong University Transnational Law Program in Hong Kong and competed in moots in International Humanitarian Law.
Shali is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (Canada Chapter), a Foreign Legal Consultant with the Law Society of Upper Canada and a member of the New York State Bar. She holds an LLB from La Trobe University, Melbourne, Australia and a BSc (Honors) in Chemistry and Environmental Science from Queen’s University, Kingston, Ontario.
