Sheila is a US attorney and partner with EY Law LLP. Her practice focuses on harnessing the power of innovative technology to design, develop and deliver global immigration programs, with a focus on client experience and compliance. With a focus on US immigration, Sheila is an advisor to large multinational organizations, conducting detailed technology reviews, assessing internal systems and providing strategic recommendations for process enhancements. She also performs compliance reviews, including I-9 and Public Access File assessments, and led the development of market-leading PERM automation and I-9 technology to elevate the experience for global clients.
Sheila has extensive experience representing clients before the Immigration Courts in Virginia and Maryland and has participated in numerous complex interviews at USCIS field offices, including those in Washington, DC, Baltimore and Philadelphia.
At her previous firm, Sheila served as the Americas Immigration Practice Leader, where she led a team of 500 immigration professionals across the Americas, including LATAM. A dedicated member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association, Sheila is also a member of the New York State Bar, the Law Society of Ontario and the Law Society of British Columbia.
