Tamara is a Manager, Associate Attorney with EY Law. She provides a wide range of US business immigration legal services, specifically handling a high volume of nonimmigrant visa petitions, including H-1B, L-1A/B, TN, and E-3.
Tamara joined EY Law, after completing the Immigrant Justice Corps fellowship in New York City, where she evaluated vulnerable immigrants’ eligibility for immigration relief, and represented them in asylum, VAWA, U nonimmigrant status, criminal issues, waivers, defense from deportation in immigration court, and consular processing with the Department of State. She also represented unaccompanied children seeking Special Immigrant Juvenile Status (SIJS) in State court.
Tamara is fluent in English, Arabic, and French.
In 2019, Tamara received her Juris Doctorate from Rutgers Law School, with a certificate in Immigration Law. In 2016, she received her Bachelor of Arts in both Political Science and Jurisprudence from Montclair State University.
Tamara is licensed to practice in the United States and is a registered foreign legal consultant with the Law Society of Upper Canada. She is admitted to the New Jersey State Bar. She is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association.
