Vanessa is a lawyer with EY Law LLP’s Business Immigration practice in Montréal. Her practice focuses exclusively on Canadian business immigration law, including Quebec-specific work permit types and permanent residency. She provides strategic immigration advice to corporate clients regarding admission to Canada pursuant to intra- company transfers, international treaties and significant benefit pathways. She helps manage the Canadian immigration process for clients in a wide range of industries, including, engineering, mining, manufacturing, and information technology.
Prior to joining EY Law LLP, Vanessa practiced business immigration law at a leading multinational immigration law firm in Toronto as well as at a boutique law firm in Montreal, where she assisted clients with various immigration matters pertaining to temporary and permanent residency.
In addition to being a member of the Canadian Bar Association, Vanessa is a member of the Association québécoise des avocats et avocates en droit de l’immigration (AQAADI).
Vanessa was admitted to the Québec Bar in 2017 and holds a Bachelor’s in Law from Université de Montréal.
